Back in 1999, a dedicated and experienced group of technology and insurance industry innovators saw a gap in the P&C Insurance market. Insurers of all sizes were looking for enterprise-quality technology platforms and core systems that could be quickly implemented, were easily configurable by internal business and technical users, automated as many processes and tasks as possible, and came “out of the box” with pre-built content, rules and workflows.
Soon to meet every one of those criteria, OneShield, Inc. launched a solution suite for policy management, billing, rating, product configuration, and business intelligence and analysis. The early years passed successfully deploying OneShield’s system (known as Dragon) within a variety of personal, commercial, and specialty carriers. This early strategy contributed directly to the current robust and configurable system relied upon by leading insurance businesses around the globe.
In 2014, OneShield acquired specific strategic and intellectual property assets of Clear Data Strategies, LLC (CDS), which serves mid-sized and niche market carriers, administrators and other entities. Rebranded and launched as OneShield Market Solutions, the company continues to support this growing and unique base of customers, and leveraging CDS’ 25 years of insurance sector expertise.
Today, with its corporate headquarters in Marlborough, MA and offices in Australia, Canada and India, OneShield, Inc. has a combined 45 products in production across all commercial, personal and specialty lines of business.
