The goal was to replace The Hanover’s legacy system with improved and more flexible processing capabilities to reduce the submission/quote/policy issuance lifecycle time. In addition, priority was placed on allowing the user community to seamlessly move between existing applications at The Hanover while simultaneously sharing data among those platforms.
The Hanover significantly improved internal workflows through seamless, realātime integration to OneShield’s flexible policy management system. This allowed The Hanover to have multiple entry points to the administration system, depending on the type of end-user, while supporting realātime data sharing to eliminate redundant data entry and storage. All while preserving beneficial legacy assets.
By seamless integration of multiple systems, critical data is now delivered to the underwriters in realātime, enabling the underwriting group to turn around complex CPP quotes in hours rather than days. With the flexibility and configurability of OneShield, The Hanover has added new features to their CPP product to improve its competitiveness in the marketplace.
